Traders' Corner: I'm Speechless!

The people that know me well (and even some who hardly know me at all)
know that I tend to have a pretty strong opinion on most things. So when I was searching for a topic for this week’s Traders’ Corner and couldn't come up with anything I surprised even myself!

Unfortunately, the reason I couldn't come up with a topic is there are so many things happening in the markets right now that its tough to get a grasp on it all!
So rather than post a chart with some specific trade idea, I will post some random bullet points that are my personal observations on the current market conditions. We will be covering some of these topics in the coming weeks so stay tuned!

1. Fannie and Freddie bailout. The phrase "Privatizing Gains and
Socializing Losses" comes to mind!
2. Lehman,WAMU,AIG. Who's next?
3.The worlds newest bubble? US Treasuries
4. The worlds next bubble? Alternative Energy?
5. Natural Gas short position? Large, soon to be much smaller.
6.Gold-small Commercial short position
7.Silver-Physical Metal hard to get.Paper Silver easy to push!
8.Junior Mining Company Shares-insanely undervalued!
9.Inflation or deflation? A little deflation now,a lot of inflation
later!
10.Hedge Funds-a lot fewer at this time next year! (Thank goodness)
11.Stock Markets-Looks like a Wave 3 down! (Look out below)
12. My favorite stock to be long right now? Minefinders (MFN) Greatbuyout candidate!

Have a great week and be careful...its tough out there!
